Zenaida is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology and over a decade of experience supporting children and adults through trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. Zenaida works with clients of all backgrounds, with particular care for communities facing systemic inequities, including people of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and PACT Level 1 trained therapist, Zenaida supports couples in improving communication and intimacy, and helps families build healthier patterns across generations. Her integrative approach blends humanistic, psychodynamic, and evidence-based practices with somatic techniques that also consider how social and cultural factors shape well-being. Zenaida brings a direct, down-to-earth style to therapy, with a touch of humor when it helps.
